The Kingfisher waits for the waters of the high tide to recede so he can fish again. I recognize these birds just by shape, the pride with which they sit. Love the Kingfishers....and the hunt is on. He is very far away from me on the end of someone's dock. Very safe, his space safe from human intrusion, he waits. I am waiting for him, and I have time........ I find the best way to look at these galleries is to put it on slideshow, set it to fade and sit back for the show. Sometimes it takes a bit of nudging when it hangs up, or something. You can see the largest photos that way. ginger, enjoy!
