Philip Simmons, Blacksmith at a booksigning on Saturday afternoon. Actually, I don't think I could have done any better, and I am quite proud of this one. I did not do well, in general, so I am quite fortunate that this worked as well as it did.
Please see my daily for the collage and the backstory. I did not know which one to put here, and which one to put there. (1/6 sec, no wonder so many photos were blurred.) F16 allowed me to not worry about the depth of field when dealing with many people, however that brings its own problems, as I am sure you all know. Love that wide angle lens. Love the large hands, brings emphasis. And his eyes, well, they show up well. I flipped this photo so he would not be looking out of the page.
